Canyon Palette

OK, let's be honest here. Sometimes I just make up these palettes because I like to look at pretty pictures. I mean, look at this canyon picture! It's got every color on the spectrum of yellow, orange, and red, and even a little dark raisin-y purple to ground it.

I'm not sure what you'd use a super-warm palette like this for, but I just had to share it anyway. This canyon palette glows with warm yellow, orange and reds

I hope this canyon palette brightens your day as it has mine.

It reminds me of my trip to Jordan a few years ago. We were walking through a beautiful colorful narrow canyon and when it suddenly opened up it revealed the ancient city of Petra.

That's so cool! I've always wanted to visit Petra. It's on my bucket list.

I love these colors, especially the orange, an the yellow at the bottom looks close to the darker of the two shades of yellow currently in my living room. Slot canyons are also some of my favorite landscape features. Yes, it's safe to say I love this palette and its inspirational photo a lot!

Love these Meredith! That deep red reminds me of the kitchen cabinets I had in Florida...red with a brown glaze. They were my favorite!

Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of reds and oranges as quiet, but I see what you mean.
