I know I promised you baseboards this week, but since I'm currently in the process of working on those very baseboards, I'm just dropping in today to share some color inspiration and a great infographic on restoring furniture.
I'm a big fan of dark and broody photography, and this one caught my eye for its gorgeous patterns of light and shadow, as well as its colors.
These warm neutrals have their roots in natural stones, timber and minerals, and would be great foundation colors in a room, or for a piece of furniture.

Be sure to pin this, so you can take a peek the next time you're trying to decide what that amazing yet questionable piece of furniture is going to cost you in terms of labor and materials. Thanks for sharing, Alan!
So, now that we've all had our dose of color for the day, I'm heading back to my white baseboards. The good news is they're getting closer to actual white, instead of dingy and scarred white like they were before. Wish me luck!

These palette is right up my alley and quite reminiscent of colors that used to be in my living room before I moved.

Thanks Jeri, now I'm looking for a way to use some of them myself!

Hi Meredith, love the warm inviting color palette. As far as furniture refinishing goes, doesn't seem to be my strong suit. I best leave it to the experts and stick to the kitchen. Lol

Thanks Susan! And if I was half as good in the kitchen as you are, I'd give up the furniture refinishing too! 🙂
