What’s a WAHM, you say? It’s short for Work-At-Home-Mom.
If you’ve ever wondered how I make my little business work for me, or how work-at-home-moms (WAHM’s) make money, I’m spilling secrets today.
Remember last week I shared my angst over the beginning of summer, and the end-of-my-work-schedule-as-I-know-it for the next two months? I gave you my feeble attempt at attaining work-life balance as a Work at Home Mom. (Go check it out if you haven’t already.)
Well, today, I’m bringing you a little something more. Actually, a LOT of something more.

Working at home isn’t always easy, it’s almost never as glamorous as you might imagine. This lesson was brought home to me last week as I answered the door to a serviceman, in my pajamas at 2pm. My hair was a wreck, makeup was nonexistent, and I was just thankful I had at least thrown on my bra earlier for good measure. (Just keepin’ it real y’all!)
I had been working on a project for my Etsy shop all day, and thought I had a half hour longer to get ready. I mean, who ever heard of a service guy showing up early? Anyway, I felt like I had to justify myself to this nice man who really didn’t care what I’d been doing with my time. So I kept all my thoughts to myself and meekly showed him to the garage door he’d come to look at. “I promise I have a job!” I wanted to explain. “It just doesn’t require me to see people most of the time…”
If you work at home, you probably have similar stories to tell. If you’re thinking of working from home, just be sure you’re doing it for the right reasons. (There are so many good reasons!) And whether you’re already doing it, or just thinking of trying it out, I have an amazing resource for you today that is bound to help you work better, be more productive, and find that balance you’re looking for.
The Ultimate Work at Home Bundle
Y’all know I don’t sell a lot on this blog. My mission here is to inspire, encourage, and help you create your own color-filled life. As part of that mission, I sometimes share products that have helped me in some way and this is one that I just couldn’t keep to myself. I have already purchased this bundle myself because I need it! And I think it will be helpful to you too, especially if you’re thinking of finding a way to work from home, or a just trying to find a way to do it better.
The ultimate work at home bundle includes 50 resources, and I won’t go into detail on all of them, but here are a few that I’m most interested in…
Etsy and Product Sales
Most of my work-at-home business centers around this blog and my Etsy shop, so these titles really caught my eye. They also have courses for other sources of income like freelancing, virtual assistance, transcription, and even mystery shopping!
Getting Things Done
The art of getting things done is something I think most creatives (like myself!) struggle with. That’s why Project Management for Creatives is on the top of my list. And Tell Your Time, by one of my favorite bloggers, Amy Lynn Andrews, is bound to be good because all of her stuff is.
Growing a Business
While having a business is great, growing that business can be so hard! I’m currently working on SEO for the blog, so Find Me is next on my reading list. Then I should probably spend some time working through the resources for legal and accounting as well, come to think of it.
Well, that’s probably enough rambling from me. I’ve got lots of reading to get started on, and you probably want to find out more of the details of how to get your hands on this little bundle of productivity.
Oh, and did I mention? It’s only available this week. So don’t wait. $2,000 worth of resources for $47 is kind of a no-brainer. Just check it out and see what I mean!
So what’s the big insider secret to being a successful work at home mom? Learn from other moms that are doing it! We all want the same things: flexibility, time with our families, and to live life on our own terms. That’s really possible, now more than ever. I believe the more we work together to support each other, the more freedom we can create for ourselves.
So happy working, creating, and sharing, my friends! And as always, let me know if you have any questions. I love to chat in the comments!
