Low Tide Palette

As the weather gets cooler, and we have more and more gray days, I’ve been thinking about moody blues.  No, not the band.  The colors.  They are the essence of the cool side of the color wheel, calming yet dramatic.

These are the kind of days that make you want to sit inside with a hot cup of coffee and contemplate your next project.  Will it be painting that bedroom you’ve been putting off?  Or re-doing that piece of furniture that needs a little help?  Whatever it is, think about using a cool color palette to give your eyes a break from all the orange and red of fall.

This palette is made up (from the top down) of Valspar:
Oxygen White
Lyndhurst Jade
Relaxed Navy
Feathered Fern
Sandalwood

Need a little help narrowing down your color choices?  Leave me a comment and I’ll be glad to help you out…
