Today’s post is sort of a mash-up between my usual color palettes and Polyvore creations. I’ve been working on my favorite part of a design project this week: picking finishes for the master bath and furniture pieces for the bedroom. There are many stages of an interior design project that are not so glamorous, but this is the time when it all starts coming together and you get a glimpse of what you’re working toward. Because I’m having so much fun playing with all this pretty stuff, I just had to share it with you!
Here’s a quick peak at some of the finishes for the bath, in a warm gray palette:
And here is a new mock up for the bedroom. This one is a refinement of the last one, including some pieces specifically requested by the client. We are planning to use Sherwin Williams’ “Quietude” for the walls, so we opted for a white bed, and a fabulous dresser from Restoration Hardware.
I want to say a big “Thank you” to my client for allowing me to share some of our process with you. Sometimes it’s hard to keep all this excitement to myself!
